Betsy Haas
is CEO and Lead Trainer of Esteemed Human
Development International, a training company
specializing in motivation, customer service,
personal effectiveness, facilitation skills,
staff appreciation and acknowledgment, stress
management, child development, parent empowerment,
self-esteem, team building communication
skills, etc. A member of the National Speakers
Association, Betsy has extensive experience
as a keynote speaker and seminar facilitator.
She also performs personal effectiveness
coaching for executives, managers, management
teams and individuals. She provides tools
to assist individuals in the accomplishment
of personal and professional goals. She
has been an instructor at the University
of LaVerne and at the Los Angeles Community
College District. Combining high energy,
humor and compassion, she empowers audiences,
coaching clients and workshop participants
to improve the quality of their lives.
Betsy earned her Master of Arts degree
from Pacific Oaks College and has over 31
years of experience in the field of human
development. She is a member of:

Betsy was voted 1999 Businesswoman of
the year by the Business Alliance of Los
Angeles.

MONTGOMERY
Training
Consultant/Diversity Expert
Jennifer has 15 years of experience
in Early Childhood Education as a Preschool
Teacher, Center Director, Instructor and
Consultant. Jennifer was a Center Director
for 5 years in the for-profit child care
industry. She is currently an Early Childhood
Education instructor at El Camino College.
Jennifer serves as campus liaison for El
Camino College for Beach Cities AEYC and
as an Academy Validator for NAEYC. Jennifer
has a Bachelor’s and Master’s
Degree in Child and Family Studies from
California State University, Long Beach.
Her expertise is in diversity, multicultural
and anti-bias curriculum.

Shawn Kaplan is continuously

of Early Childhood Development for 7 years.
Beginning as an Associate Teacher she set
her goals high and reached an Assistant
Director.
Recently, Shawn has joined Esteemed Human
Development International as a contracting
trainer. During one of our latest training's,
Shawn was key in creating the content presented.
Shawn posses a natural ability as an educator,
trainer and presenter in captivating her
audience. She has been described, by our

DUGAN

Rion
Dugan is a personal and professional life
coach and has been training and coaching
people for over 20 years. Specializing in
consulting and workshops for individuals,
corporations, non-profits, and other organizations,
Rion brings a unique background to this
field. Having studied theater at Temple
University, Rion began teaching acting workshops
that lead to classes in effective communication,
personal effectiveness and problem solving.
Working
with thousands of people, Rion has proven
himself time and again to be a powerful
teacher, trainer and coach in the area of
improved effectiveness. In addition to teaching
at the University level, Rion has worked
in many areas of both the public and private
sectors. His specialty is working with individuals,
coaching them to success in achieving their
goals, whether that goal is making a career
change, improved communication, climbing
the corporate ladder or writing a book.
Rion's personal and professional vision
is to work with people so that each person
has the opportunity to fully realize the
