CREATING YOUR OWN VISION
Have You Ever Asked Yourself Any of These Questions?
What is the purpose of my life?
Why am I here?
Where am I going?
Life is full of peaks and valleys.
When you’re in the valley, you might not
see the value of it until later when you look
back and realize all you’ve learned. That
all by yourself you are a complete and perfect
creation. A person with a purpose! The journey
it takes to discover that purpose is the difference
between making a living and making a life. If
you don’t know your purpose, hurry up and
find one! Knowing who you are and what you are
meant to be gives you the energy you need to create
the life that will make you happy.
Many of us have been brainwashed
into thinking that having a beautiful home, a
high-powered job or immense wealth is the only
true definition of success. This might work for
some people, but fortunately we don’t all
fit the same mold. Likely or not what works for
others often leaves us feeling frustrated and
sad because we’re not really doing what
we enjoy. Don’t believe me? Just look the
lives of some of the world’s most successful
people. Walt Disney wanted to make people happy.
Donald Trump wanted to build wildly successful
hotels & Mother Theresa wanted to care and
comfort the poor. Their success was achieved because
they discovered the joy of having a definite purpose
in life.
As they say, “watch and learn”
even though we’re all struggling with our
own issues, everyone we meet has something to
teach us. If a person exasperates you and causes
you to blow your top, then you probably needed
to work on patience. That’s why it’s
imperative that we create our own measure of success
and then develop a personal strategy to achieve
it. Being careful not to confuse our purpose in
life with our personal goals. Although goals are
crucial to achieving any kind of success, left
alone they can become empty and undirected. You
may set hundreds of goals, in a lifetime, but
there is only one true purpose in life and that
purpose should be the underlying core that gives
your goals direction and meaning.
Remember, no one is more important,
worthy or special than you. You have talents that
no one else can offer. There is a special goodness
and love in you. Never treat your own emotional,
physical and spiritual health as an afterthought.
Instead make your own well being a priority because
it is truly YOU that makes the difference!
